Some people may wonder how you can save time by riding a bicycle. Given that we all need to exercise everyday at least 30 minutes at a minimum to maintain our health, (although 60 minutes is recommended, 90 if you want to lose weight) riding a bicycle as a form of transportation (to work, to school, to the grocery stores, etc.) actually saves you time.

For instance, if you now drive 30 minutes to work and back everyday and then you exercise for 60 additional minutes, that's 90 minutes out of your day. If instead you ride a bicycle 60 minutes to work and back, you will have an extra 30 minutes everyday to do something else.
